An integral part of the Foundation’s work centers on publications and research on topics of interest to state legislative leaders. Our signature publications are The Handbook of State Legislative Leaders, the GAVEL newsletter and the Speaker to Speaker newsletter.

The SLLF research division is under the direction of Dr. Thom Little, and focuses on three discrete areas: case studies, grant-funded research, and leadership surveys.
